We are not an ordinary fitness club - in ACADEMIA we focus on physical development, but also good relations with people. An intimate atmosphere, smiling instructors, helpful staff, safety during clas*es - these are our most important values. Capoeira Lodz is the longest running group in Lodz that conducts training and organizes demonstrations and workshops of the Brazilian martial art Capoeira. Our activities also include the organization of Brazilian cultural festivals, training trips and open lessons for children and young people. We work constantly with non-governmental organizations, municipal institutions, private companies and the media, which helps us to fulfill our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle, through professionalism - as the only Capoeira organization in Łódź, it has as many as 5 qualified physical recreation instructors with specialties self-defense. Participants learn from the rich capoeira culture in Brazil, through constant contact with the Brazilian masters. Both instructors and students participate several times a year in skills training workshops in Poland and abroad, with the participation of capoeira masters from Brazil. For over a dozen years we have been involved in conducting clas*es in the Lodz region. We are the longest continuously existing organization of capoeira lovers in the region.
