Mirchi & Mime is a trendy dining restaurant serving modern-Indian cuisine, first of its kind in India, served exclusively by speech & hearing-impaired service staff. The restaurant offers seasonal and select clas*ical dishes from select locations across India with contemporary expression presented by a highly experienced kitchen team. Good food served quietly. It’s beautiful place. Great Ambience and a great idea too. It promotes sign language and all its staff is fluent in it. We went for 3. Halwa tart trio platter. The food was good. The rawas kabab were melt in the mouth and perfectly spiced. The biryani was different as it was with White sauces and sweetish. The chicken pieces were plenty and perfectly cooked. Their portion sizes are good and two people can conformably eat a dish. They are plated well and look pleasing. I only has an issue with their dessert. We ordered the halwa trio, which has gajar, doodhi and moong dal halwa with Malai ice cream. It was meh. Gajar was too sweet and moong had a strangish smell. Perhaps I should have just ordered the pannacotta. The only point I’m taking away is for the dessert. Oh! and the valet was super dismissive of us ( maybe coz we were on a bike) Hitesh Khatri Customer The moment you enter this place you can only see smiling faces. The staff is always ready to help and smiling. We got to learn new gestures while placing the order and it was really cool to communicate in sign language. Hats off to the team. For those who like sharing soup bowls: beware you cannot share soup here as they have There’s an army of differently abled staff. they are warm and so welcoming. It’s one of the popular places in Mumbai and I’m so far heard all positive reviews. It’s nice to communicate with actions and signs A sure 5star for me! Have been popular due to the innovative concept of using sign language as the staff are challenged people. This is what makes this restaurant a sure 5star rating. Food: tried Orange juice with icecream and the tangy twist was good.
