no need to switch from your favorite version! play together with friends on hypixel using minecraft version 1.8 and above. ja*ascript is disabled. for a better experience, please enable ja*ascript in your browser before proceeding. today we're happy to announce the 7th tournament - skywars doubles insane! if you don't know about tournaments or the tournament hall, or if you'd like to know more about some of the terms in this post, make if you missed out on previous tournaments, no big deal! you don't need to have played in previous ones to participate. you are ▶ how to participate? this tournament will take place on april 3rd. it will last 48 hours total, from 6 pm edt april 3 to 6 pm edt april 5. we have decided to reward players with triple coins and triple network experience! for skyblock players, you will be earning 20% more skill experience, and everyone will have 10 more magic find! we are also increasing the daily network challenge limit to 15. edit: we have decided to extend this event for an indeterminate amount of time. mega skywars is back for the next few weeks and we will be monitoring to see if it's worth keeping long term! we've got some fixes for bed wars and build battle today! this is the fifth set of bug fixes we've done, you can also check out our previous just letting you know we're aware of the current issues the network has been unstable for the past 2 days. we're aware of the issue and are working on fixing it as soon as possible. we apologize for any inconvenience this is causing - we understand hypixel is a happy distraction away from current world events, and we'll do our best to ensure it remains as such. update #7 from donpireso (march 23 - 4:36 pm est): last night we installed another similar powerful server to our core services and we're currently monitoring how things are going for the next 48 hours. so far so good, it appears that the hardware is stable on this one! our plan is to add more redundancy by having more big servers to that cluster and avoid any future interruptions.
