Geographers follow the trails of Niels and wild geese On good New Year holidays, good and kind fairy tales come to every house, but sometimes stories that are well known to us from childhood can become the object of real scientific research. Thus, in December 2018, two pupils of the 3rd “B” clas* of the Moscow school No. 1518 turned to the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who decided to restore the book “The amazing journey of Niels with wild geese” and map the travel route of her main character Niels Holgerson with Selma Lagerlöf wild geese. This is the second revised and updated edition of the regional atlas.
