The plans for a trip to the roof of Germany had to wait a bit. The idea was born in 2014. but first it was preceded by a reconnaissance trip to the Bavarian Alps in 2015. (this trip, however, is correct here, because the expedition to the Zugspitze (mainly due to technical difficulties and overstatement) is rather poor. The biggest problem turned out to be a reasonable accommodation (as a last resort we took CAMPING away - as it turned out that aiming at From the very beginning, we were keen on the proximity of the mountains, so we chose Grainau for the purpose. Bargains, inns and Landhausów are not lacking there, but it is hard to find something shortly before the season, especially when you are looking for accommodation for the third day. Finally, we managed to find quite a good home: a 2-room flat with kitchen, private terrace, free swimming pool and paid sauna. The area (between Lake Eibsee and Garmisch-Partenkirchen) .We left Poland at 3:00 in the morning to be able to use the first day of stay :) Initially, I wanted to take the gi torment (which later was a bit lacking), but when I realized that each of the 5 people in addition to the traditional luggage still has to carry mountain equipment with a backpack, helmet and boots .. I just gave up :) The trip took us just over 8 hours. German highways have already been nibbled a bit by tooth time and are noticeably in renovation. On the spot we were close to noon, so after accommodation using the weather we went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen to visit the Partnachklamm gorge. We have seen the gorge earlier in the pictures, but what we saw really shocked the senses. Practical advice: it is worth taking a raincoat with you, because the ceiling drips here and there;)
