FOREST STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SELECTED AS A NATIONAL ESEA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL FOR 2018. Distinguished School for 2018. Annually, up to 100 schools are nationally recognized under a project that identifies local federally staff and the entire Orange community are invited to join the English Language Arts Department in this annual reading challenge to read two Comedy Murders of 1940, by John Bishop, on Thursday, December 13 and Friday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. Directed by Dana Levin, performances of this comedic murder mystery farce will take place on the auditorium stage at the Orange Preparatory Academy. Tickets are priced at $6 for ad*lts, $4 for senior citizens and students and are available online Lincoln Avenue School, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. There will be an overview of the district's Social Emotional Heath Initiative, student activities, a trailer of the Orange High School play Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, and the following presentations: ESL creation, Saturday, November 17, and culminates with film screenings and awards presentation at the Red Carpet Event, on Sunday, November At the request of Orange Education As*ociation (OEA), March 13, 2019, was changed from a 2:30 p.m. dismissal to a 12:30 p.m. dismissal for 9:00 a.m. to 6:40 p.m., at Lincoln Avenue School. It is free and open to all Orange district students in Grades 7 – 12, parents, guardians and mentors. The Week of Respect will be observed October 1 – October 5.
