A quality Christian education isn’t just about faith and academics. All of these elements work together to help students gain a better understanding of their place in the world and how to fulfill God’s purpose. South Christian High School is a private school dedicated to educating young people from a Reformed Christian perspective. It is a place where Christian values and principles are incorporated with rigorous academic study and extracurricular challenges to prepare students to be competent, contributing members of society. The school was established in 1954 and is located in suburban Grand Rapids; an area with a population of about 1 million; it draws students from both suburban and rural areas and is maintained by an as*ociation of character continues to be molded daily at South Christian and that he will grow to be a man ready to be a light for Christ in today’s Seeing your children learn and grow during their high school years is great for any parent, but seeing what is going on at South Christian is AMAZING! We are seeing first-hand our children’s faith grow and flourish due to the many opportunities South has to offer and instill. Their faith experiences are intertwined through everything: sports teams and coaches, chapel services and planning, Young Life, Campaigners, and each day through their interactions and relationships with teachers and staff.
